One proposition, not a menu: a complete read on your market, benchmarked against your direct competitors, turned into judgement calls and next steps. Then the doing that follows. Agency thinking, without the agency.

The problem it solves

Most businesses guess at standing out. You browse rival websites, copy what looks good, and brief your designer with a shrug. It feels like research, but it produces imitation - and you end up sounding like everyone else without being able to see why. You can't read the label from inside the jar.

The usual fixes don't fit an owner-managed business. Agencies have the capability but carry the cost and lead time of a traditional engagement. Freelancers are affordable, but each one executes their bit and hands off, so nothing joins up. I'm the third option: one person owning research through strategy to execution, so the work actually connects.

Where it starts: the RISE Report

The way in is a competitive read of your market: five competitors analysed alongside your own business, so every comparison is like-for-like. It comes back as findings you can count - three headline findings, two positioning maps with the white space named, three strategic moves tagged by impact and effort, and five thirty-day quick wins with the exact copy to put live. Delivered as an interactive web report you open with a link, with one free revision included.

It's built on a four-chapter arc: Research (the landscape - who's out there and what they're really doing), Intelligence (your position, mapped against everyone else), Strategy (the moves worth making, weighed by impact and effort), and Execution (the playbook - quick wins with the copy to ship).

Where it goes next

The report is the first step of a connected sequence, and each step is optional: see the landscape, find the problem, fix it. After the read comes the conversion work - auditing the pages your traffic lands on - and then the fixes themselves: sharper messaging, landing pages that earn their keep, and the campaigns to feed them. The thinking and the delivery stay in the same hands, which is why one piece tends to lead to the next.

How I work

Fifteen years in digital marketing, direct and one-to-one. I direct and interpret while AI does the heavy lifting underneath - that's what compresses weeks of consultant time into days, at a price an owner-managed business can spend without asking permission. I draw a hard line between what the evidence shows and what is my judgement, and I say which is which. Every recommendation traces back to something you can check.
